ZAK is a modern information system for comprehensive management of printing production.
The system clearly defines all key processes: communication with the customer, preparation of offers, technological process, production process, but also the process of obtaining information about the production done and its comparison with the plan. The information system provides high-quality data and clear information necessary for effective management of the printing shop.
Database: Informix, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL
Technology: Java
The contract includes the basic client data, as well as the type and name of the product. Specifi c production processes, quantities, versions, components, sheets and the delivery list are defined on the Variant screen. Here, printing of most reports is also launched (production bills, pallet labels in different languages, work sheets, delivery lists, revision history, overview of additions, etc.).
Contract data can be exported from the Variant to the accounting / warehousing system (SAP, etc.).
In addition to quantities, versions also include finishing and packing details. Components already contain detailed processing information identical for all their printing sheets.
The printing sheet is the basic unit of information for printing production bills and sacks / work sheets.
The delivery list is made of a simple version and destination matrix. The intersection of the column and the row creates the socalled Spedition Amount (SA), which is the basis for generating delivery notes. The SA may have a different packing requirement than its version.
QWIZZ is a universal reporting module, embedded in the application. By starting the report and possibly entering simple query parameters (year, date, machine, etc.), the user can obtain data from different data sources – not just application databases but also other databases (SAP-DB2, PECOM-PostgreSQL, etc.) or files.
The module effectively processes, sorts, transforms and exports the data to ready-made templates (MS Excel, MS Word, HTML, etc.).
The outputs can be used:
The module was created to collect actual contract data. The Shift screen contains information on the person and the machine he / she operates.
The Job screen allows for collection of specific production data with preparation, turnover and idle time information. All idle times are linked to the data records for evaluation of the 5 WHY method used to prevent idle time.
Technological operations such as print can be added and moved within the Planning module. When modifying the machine, the number of turns or impositions, the print duration is automatically recalculated. Downtime can be scheduled or machine time reserved preliminarily.
Spedition follows the specification of the delivery list by the sales department. The system automatically creates spedition amounts, which can be further broken down by actual spedition (car, number of pallets, etc.) depending on full pallet and quantity.
