Querity, s.r.o. Vision

Since its establishing back in 2003, Querity s.r.o. has been developing into a flexible, process-managed SW company. Our company is not just the supplier of information technology to our clients, but primarily a partner helping them achieve better efficiency in their business. Our results prove that acquiring IS is neither risky, problematic, nor expensive if the appropriate approach, methodology and tools are applied.

Company Mission

A practical IS will make particular work procedures more efficient in a quantifiable way. Speeding up and simplifying procedures means cheaper production.

Emphasis on the quality of IS development, i.e. observation of a standard pragmatic methodology, results in high degree of certainty when it comes to the achievement of desired outcomes, opportunity to monitor continuously the solution status, and exploitation of experience from earlier projects.

The price is adequate to the utility of our work outcomes as well as to the client’s financial capacity – we do not search for clients adequate to our prices, but rather for ways of solving our clients’ needs within their financial capacity.

Who Are Our Clients and What Do We Have to Offer

By modelling business processes, we help all our clients define, commit, and deploy information systems of high utility value so that there is return on the means invested into the IS defined in advance.

Small and medium-sized companies

We enable small and medium-sized companies to have professional IT systems designed and implemented using advanced, practical procedures at prices at which the invested finance may show a short return time.

The proposed solutions may be implemented in steps, without major investments at the beginning.

Provision of professional IT services at affordable prices to small and medium-sized companies requires primarily consistent use of methodologies, tools and products which enhance the effectiveness of our work. To reduce the costs of customised development, we therefore apply ready-to-use process templates which are further adjusted to the particular client’s situation. Implementation of customised IT systems draws on standardised modules whose parameters are adjusted to fit the client’s needs; only unique requirements are subject to actual development.

Medium-sized and large companies

When addressing more complex issues, process templates and standardised modules would not suffice since the procedures and needs may be highly specific.

In such cases we use a simple, though sophisticated procedure of process analysis to define activities which necessarily require IT support; thus we can determine the necessary minimum set of requirements for the IT system with a high utility value.

Implementation of the system is done in a systemic way, using standardised development environment; it allows us to split the development up to sets of partial modules and thus to monitor the implementation procedure continuously, verifying interim outputs.

A significant field of needs for medium-sized and large businesses lies in the automation of working procedures – a workflow system implementation. For these types of tasks we developed a core workflow system into which customised modules can be embedded (business case management, production management, accounting operations management, etc.)

Useful IT System Drawing on Business Processes

A practical/useful information system avails just of the absolutely necessary functionality which demonstrably contributes to higher efficiency of particular work activities.

In order to properly understand the core of the client’s business and the significance of individual activities, we develop a process model in cooperation with the client. The process model is based on the UML (Unified Modelling Language), though simplified enough to be comprehensible to our clients.

The objective of the process modelling is not to astonish with the complexity of images, but to come out with a clear description comprehensible to both parties of the processes within the company. Since the two-dimensional graphic model is more descriptive than a compact text, the consultations take place over the diagrams which schematically capture the individual work procedures including statuses, logical relations, and roles of individual staff.

Efficiency Achieved Through Pragmatic Methodology

We have learned a practical lesson that good quality and efficient IT system development is determined by consistent observation of methodological procedures during analysis, design, and implementation of the IT system, on the one hand, and by training and skill development of our expert staff, on the other hand.
